In response to the resounding success of the first Unlocked event in Manchester, we’re partnering with UKFast to present this eye-opening cybersecurity conference in London.
Offering online safety advice to business owners and their clients, Unlocked London will be your ticket to cyber-attack prevention.
When and where?
The event will be taking place at The Shard, London, on Wednesday 14th June, between 12.30pm and 5pm. It’s free to attend, and our consultants will offer live demonstrations showcasing just how quickly and easily your business can be affected.
What you’ll get:
Experts from Microsoft and Cisco will join us to discuss recent attacks and provide you with actionable, takeaway advice, addressing and providing solutions to any fears you may have for the future of your business.
What we’ll cover:
Ransomware is a malicious type of software designed to block access to important data until a specified amount of money is paid. We have seen this kind of software used most recently in the global attack WannaCry.
Ransomware, alongside distributed denial of service (DDoS) attacks, are the most common in terms of causing damage to UK businesses.
One of the greatest concerns for the government is cyberterrorism. Criminals use the internet to achieve political gains through intimidation. Unlike typical attacks that are monetary led, cyberterrorism often results in physical violence causing significant bodily harm or loss of life as well as great economic damage.
General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
Understand the regulation and prepare for the deadline. Within a year you must be compliant with the regulations standards to prevent a fine of up to £17.25m.
